Sorry but I have had to take the guest book off line for now as people are posting porn sites on there! I have also removed email links as web spiders are bombarding me with spam mail.

I have quit playing Bass with Rollin Steel, this is purely a financially motivated decision, they all have full time jobs to support them whereas I am full time in this business, I wish them luck in the future!

I have however had a fallout with Barrie Smalley (the organizer of the Ponsmere Festival) and in his wisdom he has cancelled me after 12 years.

I will miss the Festival and all the people that attend, again I wish them luck in the Future.

On the night, almost £1000 was raised and donated to the British Heart Foundation.

It was also Carols Birthday on the 17th and Nigel who had organised the Event presented her with a rather impressive bouquet of flowers! (Thanks Pal you really put me on the spot, the last time I bought her flowers err’ or rather a Cactus was when our Stuart was born and he’s 21 in August!)

Well 2002 is out of the way and things are really taking shape for 2003 and what's more I am actually enjoying myself again, something I haven't done for the past couple of years.

The Solo work is starting to come in at a rate I never expected and as most of it seems to be mid week it leaves me free to stand in with Rollin Steel (All Live Band) at weekends, So now I've got the best of both worlds!

Thanks to everyone for your support and word of encouragement over the last year and a Happy New Year for 2003!

Rolling Steel have lost their Bass Player and I have agreed to step into the breach until the end of the year as long as it doesn't coincide with any of my own bookings, I've put them on the date sheet.

Well folks my first 3 gigs as a Solo artist were performed this week and despite a few nerves and minor hiccups i.e. forgetting to turn the P.A on and singing to myself for a few seconds they went absolutely brilliant, I've been booked back for 2 of them already, the other one is struggling any way but 2 out of 3 ain't bad!

Just need some more work now so pass the word around Steve Hanks is BACK!
